This is a very personal collection of pieces that I have bought together under the idea that moments in time are captured by a quality of light. I have always been interested by the subtle ambient, half-waking state that many of us experience at some time in our childhood. An awareness that lifts us beyond the conscious of our surroundings and takes us to another place. A dreamlike state that almost allows us to become one with the environment and light around us.
I explore more fully the sound and tone of the piano here. There are supporting textures, some shimmering and others more dissonant, lilting asymmetric motifs and above all space. Quiet, very quiet space.
